This blog is to document an ongoing project attempting to combine the process of silkscreen printing with photography. Using a silkscreen coated with photosensitive emulsion as my film I aim to create a photographic image directly onto the silkscreen which can then be screen printed.

The Camera

The camera is a simple pinhole camera constructed from mdf, painted black then taped on the edges to ensure it was light proof.
